Jamaica,
The Land
We Love

A brand-new charity single, recorded by gospel artists in the UK who love Jamaica, raising funds to bring clean water, power and hope to families still recovering from Hurricane Melissa.

100% of donations go directly to grassroots, community-led recovery on the ground, starting with a 10,000-litre-a-day water generator for Parottee, St Elizabeth.

Celebrating thirty years

30 Years ofchanging lives1996 – 2026

Thirty years ago, we had no plan and no idea what we were doing. All we had was a simple desire to help. So we started walking, first to The Gambia, then to Sierra Leone, then home to Jamaica and into London’s classrooms, and with every step, the doors just kept opening. We have run on nothing but the grace and favour of God, and the kindness of everyone who said yes along the way. Thank you for walking this journey with us. The best is still to come.

Our spirit

We likkle… (we’re small) but weTallawah!

Jamaican Patois · tallawah

Strong, fearless and far mightier than your size would suggest.

We are a tiny micro charity. There is no big head office and no huge budget behind us. What we do have is heart, determination and a family of partners and volunteers who refuse to give up.

That is how a small team has shipped containers across the ocean, reached thousands of young people and helped rebuild lives after a hurricane. We may be likkle, but our impact is massive.

Our work

Three divisions. One heart.

We are a small charity with a big reach. Everything we do, from rebuilding in Jamaica to mentoring in London to training performers, comes back to one belief: every person deserves the chance to flourish.

1996 – 2026

Thirty years, in moments

None of this happened alone. It happened because schools, councils, churches, companies, volunteers and supporters said yes.

Day one
The start

The journey begins

A small foundation with a big belief that every young person deserves someone in their corner.

The Gambia

Our very first mission

It started when Pearl saw perfectly good school supplies being thrown away at her daughter’s school in the UK. The Gambia was the first place they reached.

More classrooms filled

Next came Sierra Leone, where school supplies from the UK reached children who needed them, and a clinic was kitted out with brand-new mattresses, sheets and pillowcases.

Coming home to Jamaica

Then we brought our mission to Jamaica, the land of our heritage, filling classrooms with supplies, furniture and joy alongside local volunteers.

Back in the UK, we took our work into London’s schools, with knife crime workshops, mentoring and relationship sessions for young people who needed someone in their corner.
